Pastor Luke and Theo Wellington will represent Matthews Memorial UMC:

Each year an equal number of clergy members and lay members attend an annual conference session for worship, fellowship, and to conduct the business of the conference. These sessions include reports of past and ongoing work; adoption of future goals, programs and budgets; ordination of clergy members as deacons and elders; and election of delegates to Jurisdictional and General Conferences (every 4 years). The Bishop presides over these meetings. The inaugural gathering of the TWK annual conference will be June 15-17 at Brentwood UMC. The theme for this year, “The River of Life Unites Us” is a celebration both of the various rivers that unite us geographically and the life that is collectively ours in Jesus Christ.
